OUR SUSTAINABILITY MISSION
DISTILLED IN THE HEART AND HARBOUR OF SCOTLAND’S CAPITAL CITY, WE PRODUCE PREMIUM GIN IN A SUSTAINABLE, COMMUNITY-MINDED WAY, USING ETHICALLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS. WE WANT TO INSPIRE A RECONNECTION WITH NATURE, WORKING ALONGSIDE AND IN BALANCE WITH IT.
SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
Making Gin in a way that is ethical and sustainable.
We are committed to the natural and ethical sourcing of ingredients used in the making of our gin and hold each of our suppliers to the highest quality standards.
RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING
We aim to reduce the impact of our packaging on the planet by using recyclable and sustainable materials.
We use lightweight bottles to carry our precious gin and use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper on our labels which is fully recyclable and uses recycled content.Â
The aluminium cans use across our ready to drink cans are easily recyclable kerbside.
BIODIVERITY CONSERVATION
We have extended our efforts to protect biodiverse habitats through a long-term strategic partnership with the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh.
 percentage of the revenue from the annual sales of Edinburgh Gin 1670 goes towards the Royal Botanic Garden’s efforts to help fun biodiversity projects.
Edinburgh Gin 1670 is a bespoke gin using rare and exotic botanicals grown and handpicked in the city’s most famous garden.  Buy now to support our biodiversity project

We support, protect and enhance our home and local community for ours and future generations.

FUTURE PLANS
Our new brand home in the heart of our beloved city
We are making every effort to ensure we have sustainability at heart of all that we do as we prepare for the opening of our new brand home.
Our new state of the art distillery currently under construction on Market Street in the heart of Edinburgh will run on 100% renewable energy.
This aligns with our overall aim to decrease our carbon footprint and be carbon neutral by 2025.
